A [Not So] Novel Idea

I've published one novel just recently, Blue Moon:A Literary Sonata that is just becoming available to the public. It's about coming of age in 1960's America. It's my first. As soon as distribution details are in place I will make details available.
I have 5 additional works of fiction underway: Derby Hill, a story set in 1959 about three boys in Detroit and the Soap Box Derby; Elephant in the Yard, a story set in Louisiana and Tennessee just prior to and during the War Between the States/The Civil War. Both of these works are in some respects prequels to Blue Moon.
I also have the beginning chapters of what I believe could be developed into a mystery series about PI Max Chabot, a sleuth who lives aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean. Then there is my project titled Havana, Canada, a sequel to Blue Moon and set in the future after Cuba becomes a Canadian province featuring reprised roles for characters who appear in Blue Moon.
On the front burner is a work I am titling The Lexi Chronicles, a story narrated in the present time built around the lives and history of characters in the tiny Michigan village of Colon, the Magic Capital of the World.
There really is a Colon, Michigan and it really is the Magic Capital of the World.
I am going to attempt to write the novel on this blog, in installments. Hey, it worked for Charles Dickens; it's worked for Stephen King and [probably] countless others. So I'm going to attempt it.
So, coming up next, The Lexi Chronicles.
